The most common cause for the failure of the slide tray to advance or reverse is the breakage of this small Link (part # 217769). It fits on the end of the solenoid acutator arm and is held in place by a Rivet (part # 159943). The replacement of this part does not take a rocket scientist, however, a moderate mechnical aptitude skill is required.
