The Blocking Hammer is used to sink metal into a form or a sandbag. The head shape is between the Large Embossing HMR–104 ball and the curved end of the Planishing Hammer HMR–101. The extra weight of this hammer is perfect for blocking bowls or large jewelry shapes while leaving the domed surface relatively smooth.
