The RC Plus Steering Wheel Mount™ provides a simple, stable way to support your DJI RC Plus controller from your vehicle’s steering wheel during authorized drone operations.

Designed for both the DJI RC Plus Version 1 and Version 2, the mount installs in seconds with no tools or permanent vehicle modifications.

Simply slip the mount over the steering wheel. The handle of the RC Plus then slips over the molded notch at the top of the RC Plus Steering Wheel Mount™, positioning the controller directly in front of the operator.

Get Out of the Weather

There are plenty of times when standing outside with a controller isn't necessary—or comfortable.

During extended operations, the RC Plus Steering Wheel Mount™ allows the pilot to sit inside the vehicle and get out of the summer heat, winter cold, wind, or rain, provided the operation is being conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and authorizations.

It's particularly useful when operating under an applicable BVLOS waiver or authorization, or when the vehicle can be positioned so the pilot can maintain the required visual contact with the aircraft.

A steering-wheel mount can spend a lot of time directly behind a vehicle windshield, where temperatures can become extremely high.

That's why we manufacture the RC Plus Steering Wheel Mount™ from glass-fiber-filled ASA (ASA-GF) rather than inexpensive PLA or standard PETG.

ASA-GF provides excellent strength, rigidity, dimensional stability, and heat resistance, making it much better suited for demanding vehicle and field environments.

PLA can readily soften and deform in the temperatures found inside a closed vehicle, and even PETG can soften or deform under sufficiently high temperatures. We didn't want your controller supported by a mount made from the least expensive filament available.

Over 1 Pound of ASA-GF in Every Mount

This isn't a thin, lightweight 3D print.

Each RC Plus Steering Wheel Mount™ uses approximately 500 grams—about 1.1 pounds—of ASA-GF material.

At typical material costs, that's approximately $15 worth of ASA-GF alone in each mount, before accounting for machine time, printing time, labor, finishing, quality control, packaging, or other manufacturing costs.

We use that much material for a reason: we designed this as a substantial field accessory intended to support an expensive professional controller.

Simple, Tool-Free Installation

No drilling.

1. Slip the RC Plus Steering Wheel Mount™ over the steering wheel.
2. Position the mount in front of the driver's seat.
3. Slip the RC Plus handle over the molded notch at the top of the mount.
4. Position the controller and you're ready to operate.

When the mission is finished, simply lift off the controller and remove the mount.
