Cutters - Xuron® Maxi-Shear™ Flush Cutter, Lead Retainer (2175F)
Shear - lead retainer. 170-II Series shears offer numerous ergonomic enhancements in a”popularly priced” tool. Principal among them is our effort reducing Micro-Shear cutting action. Their shearing cut requires only about half the effort to cut a wire as that required by a conventional compression type cutter. They feature advanced ergonomic shape Xuro-Rubber grips, a glare eliminating black finish, light weight and our patented, life-time warranted, Light Touch return spring. Manufactured from high carbon steel, their Rockwell hardness is a durable 54-56C. They are optionally available with static control (AS) grips. Our 2193 with the inclusion of self-adjusting clamping fixtures which hold the material being cut perpendicular to the cutter jaws. Greatly simplifies cutting process while adding significantly to both the precision of the cut and cutting capacity. Gives square ended cuts on both the cut and off-cut sides. Cuts music wire up to 0.060”.
